Fairy Tales - the project part3
I used this to wrap up a fairy tale project.
We started off with a power point presentation (http://www.eslprintables.com/powerpoint.asp?id=58065#thetop) where Ss had to think about the vocabulary, brainstorm about what fairy tales are, the ones the know about and then predict which band had a song with fairy tale references.
We listened to the song "Brick by boring brick" by Paramore - see my worksheet - http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=631692#thetop - analyzed it´s meaning and fairy tale references. We finished off with this cyber writing task and with the rewriting of their favourite fairy tales into the 21st century versions. They enjoyed the project very much! I hope you do to!
