Wallace and Gromit: A Matter of Loaf and Death
This is a worksheet for the Wallace and Gromit film, A Matter of Loaf and Death (2008), BAFTA Best Short Animation winner. Wallace and Gromit are now working as bakers, and Wallace meets and becomes romantically attached to Piella Bakewell, a woman who used to be a bakery pin-up star, and who now has a pretty little poodle called Fluffles. But someone is murdering all the bakers in town...
In this worksheet, on page 1, the characters Wallace and Gromit are introduced. On page 2 there is a text summary of the action, with gaps, plus some vocabulary connected to baking. On page 3 there is an answer key for the text summer. (I adapted the texts from the Wikipedia entry.) If I can, I will also upload my PowerPoint file, that I use to introduce the characters and pre-teach the vocabulary.
