English worksheet: Hey Diddle Diddle Nursery Rhyme Hey Diddle Diddle Nursery Rhyme

This is a great activity to help children with memory and sequencing skills. What children do is first cut out the words of the Rhyme and then place them in order. Then they need to do the same for the pictures. Students can do this an individual activity or can be a group activity helping children also learn the importance of team work. As there are only 5 pictures and children love to colour if you are doing this as a group activity try to limit the amount of kids in a group. I did this a few years ago as a literacy activity both individually and group and worked really well. HAVE FUN! PS I did some cutting and pasting for the pictures...I canīt draw!
