True Colors Song Lyrics and activity sheet
This is a worksheet that works wonders. One side has the complete song, the other there are some words missing.
Steps:
1. Brainstorm about the meaning of the song title: True Colors.
2. You split the class in two. Half of the students have the incomplete lyrics, you paste the complete song on the wall. The other half of students (with a specific partner) have to go to the wall, look for the missing words (one by one), run and tell. Itīs a very funny, and energetic activity.
3. After that, you give the complete songs to the students that were running back and forth. Then, all the group is ready to listen to the two different versions of the song: Cindy Lauper and Phil Collins and decide which one they like the most.
