Crossing cultures
I usually do run&write activity with this lesson first.
I pair the ss up and get one person to be the runner and the other to be the writer.
Then I post the first page outside the classroom and tell the runners to run outside and remember as much as they can. They must come back inside when I say stop. (I repeat this several times)
When finished, I get each group to read out theirs and see who´s the winner.
After that, I give them the ws with questions and get them to listen to the full story (teacher will read this out loud) and answer questions.
Go over the answers when finished.
This could be a lead-on to culture lesson such as culture shock.
