Make A Country
I made this worksheet for 5th and 6th grade classes in which I let students make their own countries. I have an accompanying PPT I made that I will also upload soon. The kids had fun with this, and after an allotted amount of time, each group had to give a presentation at the front of the class about their country.
Because most of my students are not advanced, I had the students give their presentations in an interview format. I was at the front of the room with them, and would ask each of the questions for them to answer. Whether you would like to do it the way I did, have the students themselves as each other the questions, or have them give a regular presentation is up to you. They were also required to draw illustrations in the boxes and on the 2nd page.
One thing that is important to remember is making sure they know which things should be singular, and which things should be plural.
Itīs also a good worksheet to put on display in your classroom and/or on a bulletin board. I hope this helps someone~
