Health and Advice Project
This worksheet is designed to take 2 50 minute lessons, but of course can be shorten or lengthened for different levels. The goal is for students to write opinion and give advice about different health topics.
Class 1, Students are divided into groups of 4 or so. They each choose a different topic, 1-8. Student must by themselves think about the pros and cons of the topic with 4-5 reasons for each side. After students should write a paragraph giving both sides and then their advice to the group.
Class 2, students practice saying their paragraph of advice. Then students present to the group and receive comments and feed back. The best student from each group is chosen and presents to the whole class.
