toys & face
For the first exercise, students are supposed to describe their favourite toy. In the first sentence, they are supposed to write the name of their toy. For the second one, they should circle "big" or "small" (in order to describe the size of a toy). Finally, they are supposed to write the colour of the toy.
The second exercise is about describing oneīs face. In the first sentence, they should write down the colour of their eyes and circle if they have got big or small nose. After that, they shoud write the kind of ears they havenīt got (it could be size - big/small; colour or number). For the next sentence, they should write if they have got big mouth (or not) using the appropriate form of the verb have got. Finally, they are supposed to write if they have got (or not) brown hair (as in the previous sentence).
The third exercise is the most interesting. The children show their creativity in illustrating a monster according to the description given. They are supposed to draw the items that are mentioned (in the sentence " I havenīt got small mouth.", they are supposed to draw the monsterīs mouth, but the opposite of small; In "I havenīt got an orange hair." thea are supposed to draw hair and colour it any colour except orange).
My students really enjoyed working on this worksheet and, hopefully, developed their understanding of "have got" and improved their writing.
