What should I do? (Mingle Activity)
A speaking activity where students must complete the chart by using the expressions related to asking for and giving advice.
Give each student the chart. Then, give each student one of the advices for the problems in the chart randomly. Tell students to not show their advice to their friends and have them write the advice (which they received) next to its respective problem in the chart. Re-collect the strips of advice. After, have students mingle and ask each other for advice.
The game starts off a bit slowly at first, but progresses rather quickly near the end. This is because near the end, the studentsf charts are almost complete, making the search to find a person who has the advice for a particular problem easier to find. If a student is asked for advice but does not have the problemīs respective advice, the student replies, "Iīm sorry, I donīt know".
