This is a reading that works well. It is the story of a daughter that wants to leave home as her parents don´t accept her boyfriend who is in prison. It is about family relatioships and generation gap. Ss like this text. It is followed by comprehension questions and can be used as a test as well. I usually first introduce the subject with Cat Stevens´ famous "Father and son". Hugs.
