Past Simple Board Game
This board game allows students to practise using the past simple in a fun and enjoyable way. It was designed as a speaking activity, however could easily be used as a writing activity. Students have to make affirmative, negative or interrogative sentences using irregular verbs. It allows the students to practice the tenses using different subjects. It can be used at different levels, simply encourage longer answers for higher levels.
My students have enjoyed using this game to improve their knowledge of the past simple and irregular verbs.
