Building vocabulary on different foods. This is a 3 part guessing game. Tell students that the aim is to guess the fruit. Tell them 1 clue at a time. e.g. this fruit is red. This fruit is small. This fruit grows in summer. (strawberry) Go through all the fruits. It might be nice to put your class into 2/3 teams and give them point if they guess correctly. It makes them competitive. Work through all 3 groups: fruits, vegetables and others. You can make it more exciting by taking some fruits or vegetables into class or taking flashcards to show them (or photographs)
