Can you ...........
These are activity cards for beginners.
The activity can be done in pairs or threes or fours.
Each group is given a set of cards and shoudl put them on their desks, face down.
Student 1 takes a card and asks student 2: CAN YOU ....
Student 2 has two options.
Either the answer is YES, I CAN, or the answer is NO, I CANīT.
If the answer is NO, I CANīT, the game continues with the next card, the players taking turns.
If, however, the answer is YES, I CAN, student 1 says,
PROVE IT!
And then student 2 must prove that he/she REALLY can do what he claimed he could.
If you want, you might ask a third student to act as an arbiter and to give points, but I prefer doing such activities without any competition factor. Itīs exciting enough, anyway.
