LET´S GO TO THE MOVIES - GUESS WHO ? / TABOO ... GAMES worksheet

You can use this worksheet in different ways to play with your pupils. You can either : - cut the cards horizontally and play a taboo game, each pupil / team trying to have his team / the class guess which character is being described without saying the 4 different words around. It is also forbidden to say the name of the director/writer/studios/actor or any words that can be found in the films (Nightmare / Christmas are forbidden for instance) - cut the cards horizontally and separate the visuals from the words and have teams of pupils talk as much as possible about the character without looking at the words. The teacher is in charge of checking the words uttered. Each time they utter one of the words they score a point. You can of course add other words to the list. - cut the cards horizontally then separate the visuals from the words. The visuals cards are face down and pupils pick one word card and guess who the word might correspond to then if they haven´t found after 1/2/3... guesses, they pick the second card etc. Of course, they score more if they guess with the help of the first card, less with the help of the four cards. More characters to come. You may change the words if you feel like it (with dates, film directors...) and of course invent other kinds of games. Have fun.
