Match the sounds game Match the sounds game

A matching game with two ways to play it. You can lay the cards out face down, and have the SS take turns turning over two cards, trying to find cards whose vowel sounds match. Or you can use two sets of cards. Divide the class into 2 teams. Give one member of each team a card and have them run to a table across the room to find the card with the same sound as the one on their card.
