News Paper Project
This is a final project for my high school English course students. The introductory activities cannot be provided here as they are from a textbook. I will try to make a modified version of those handouts soon. After students are introduced to news articles, they look at an example news story and work in a group of 4 to create a newspaper. Each student is given a different topic to research and use the note pages to research their topic in English online. Teacher checks their notes. Then students write a first draft. The last draft is a news article with pictures that they will put together with their group. At the end, the class will have 40 news stories put into a classroom newspaper by the teacher. Students finally will present their article to the class.
