Intermediate ESL Introductory Activities worksheet

I use this introductory activity for my high school ESL class. They have produced wonderful presentations and it initiates great discussion. The second part of the assignment is to write a letter to their teachers. Although this is somewhat more challenging, the students felt more comfortable in their classes knowing that all of their teachers knew something about them. It also encourages teachers to ask the ESL students questions about their lives. I have found it an engaging way to encourage communication.
