Space Oddity
This worksheet begins with an exercise to fill in the blanks of David Bowieīs song. It then moves on to some comprehension exercises on the contents that help ss better understand the two perspectives on space exploration (how Ground Control sees it and how Major Tom truly feels it).
Once the song is clearly understood, itīs time for critical reading - some opinions taken from a music forum are shown and ss are asked to reflect on them, regarding both language (type and tone) and content ("Which one do you agree / disagree most with / from?").
To allow ss to express themselves (from Major Tomīs point of view), they are asked to finish with a writing exercise.
