[1] Teacher and Ss read the example sentences for past simple (regular and irregular) practice. [2] Ss draw 5 or 6 circles in the table to show what they did yesterday. [3] In pairs, Ss ask one another a "Did you..." question. If they get a "yes" answer, they write yes in that space in the table. They write "no" if they get a "no" answer. The first to guess and write what their partner did, is the winner. Ss should not show their sheet to their partner. Editable A4 in colour.
