Say Seven - VOCABULARY REVISION GAME
This is a game I adapted from an Argentinian radio programme to my English classes at school.
It is called "Say Seven". It is for recycling vocabulary previously taught. Instructions:
-Divide the class into teams.
-Each team chooses a card (different members each time).
-They will have to say seven vocabulary items according to what the card asks (for example "Say seven parts of the house"). They have one minute to say them. The only condition is that they CANNOT use a filler between the items (ehhhh, mmmm, etc). If they use a filler, the turn ends automatically. If at the moment of using the filler they had already listed three correct items of vocabulary, they have 3 points.
-Each correct item is one point.
-The winner will be the team who has more points. That means more correct items of vocabulary listed.
-Remember that they cannot use fillers! If they use a filler, they lose the turn.
Hope you find it useful. Of course, you can adapt the cards to your own needs and according to the vocabulary you taught.
