Yogi Berra Shouting Dictation Puzzle worksheet

This is a fun activity which engages students in speaking, listening, reading and writing. They are challenged to read parts of unfamiliar sentences and shout the words back to a teammate. Once the sentence parts are gathered the students must work out the whole sentences. It is challenging because the ideas make sense in a rather odd way. The exercise concludes with an opportunity to discuss why these ideas are strange.
