In our Commumities Unit, I go to local hotels and collect different tour phamplets that have things for people to do around town. This TOTALLY EDITABLE worksheet is a lot of fun. Each student gets a pamphlet, and answers questions about the place. Then, I will have them each do a page on a PowerPoint called Interested Activities To Do Around Our Town, then have them do a little summary on their own page. Each student will get a copy of the PowerPoint so that they can see what our area has to offer. Many of them just came to our country, or will be having visitors , so this is a great "INFOMERCIAL" for them to see what there is to do!
