The Oprah Show - Pets worksheet

Some of my students are hesitant to express opinions and so I made these materials for roleplaying a talk show. You need to first familiarise students by asking about talk shows in their country and the role of the host. Students generally read and absorb the information card and then express their opinions allowing other members to question or disagree. The end result is often a lively speaking activity with lots of unselfconscious participation. In a larger class, other students may act the audience.
