Connect 4
Very useful method to get students practicing language skills amount each other while having fun
Rule
Based on the board game.
Two players. (different color each)
Start with rock, paper, and scissors to decide who goes first.
Loser (of R,P,S) uses target sentence “Which one do you wants?”
Ex. “Beef please” and shades in that field.
Then the question is reversed and the second player ask the first player “Which one do you want?”
First player answers with “…………., please.” And shades in their flied.
The aim of the game is to practice using the target sentence and to connect four colors (either vertically, horizontally or diangle)
You can play – first to get four in a row wins. Or who ever get the most pairs (4 in a row) wins.
