Snowball activity worksheet

It´s a great vocabulary game to teach new words or revise vocabulary that are already taught. Print the paper and cut it. Give a vocabulary card to each student. They shouldn´t show their cards to their friends. They stand up and work in pairs. Student A reads the definition of the word and student B tries to guess the word. If student B can´t guess the word student A can give clues like spelling the word until student B knows the word finally. They take in turns like that and each pair swap their cards after they´re finished so that they have a different word. They go on the activity with a new partner. When the activity ends you may read the definition of the words and check if students can remember the words. It´s surprising to see that after the activity they remember most of the words.
