TENSE REVISION WITH A THE LUMINEERS SONG
The first task is to listen to the song Dead Sea by the Lumineers and fill in the gaps with the missing verbs. It´s a very good song for this task because it has at least one example of all the main verb tenses. Then, students have to complete a chart by writing the verbs in the correct column and rewriting them in all the given tenses. It´s a very good way to make them visualize the differences (and similarities) between the tenses. My students tell me they like revising the tenses with songs, I hope yours will too.
