Famous personalities, countries, nationalities memory game
Print the cards. Draw a colouful dot on the reverse side of all the cards with the name of a country. Cut the cards and mix them up. Put them on the desk the reverse side up. A student turns one card with a dot and one card without a dot.If they don´t fit together, the student has to form a negative sentence (e.g. Václav Havel isn´t from Germany or Václav Havel isn´t German) and puts the cards back reverse side up. If they fit together, the student forms a positive sentence (e.g. Václav Havel is from the Czech Republic or Václav Havel is Czech), keeps the two cards and can play again. The student with the most pairs of cards is the winner.
