My dream school
This is a creative communication exercise. Pupils draw their dream school within a frame and then describe it to a partner. They are given the beginnings of their sentences to get started. If your pupils don´t know all of the words they need for their work, they can ask you and you will tell them.
Another exercise is: questioning their partner about their dream school, using given (structures of) questions. The grammatical focus is on descriptive expression "there is..." / "there are..." My students liked it a lot - they loved to make their school a funny place, e.g. they built it on a cloud or it had a swimming pool on the top...
