INCREDIBLE, awful, hilarious...!
A fun substitution from the usual "What did you do during your summer vacation?" Students work with adjectives (amazing, hilarious, frightening, etc.) to write an anecdote. They also use past tense verbs to fill in paragraphs about summer activities. On page 3 they do a mingling task... trying to find who did or saw...something amazing, hilarious,etc.
