Complete the map
You will find 4 maps, one is for you with everything, one is for student A with all the items to be placed on the map, except for the landmines, one for student B with only the mines, and one for the rest of the class with only the river and the roads.
First student A describes his/her map, so others can draw the items on theirs. (even student B, because it will help him for the next step)
Then itīs student Bīs turn to describe his/her map to the others.
Afterwards you can describe yours to allow them to correct possible mistakes.
And then you can all show each other your maps. You can also ask them why are the mines placed that way (theyīre in strategic positions)
Itīs a very good exercice whicn always works, and makes them talk.
