Coloring African Countries
This is a coloring worksheet with all the countries in Africa. I used it in a geography lesson with my Japanese elementary school students. You need the free downloadable font KG Primary Dots to view the traceable words. It is available here;

First I talked to my students about various African countries they may have heard of before (South Africa, Kenya, Egypt, Madagascar, Nigeria, etc).
Then I asked them to write an African country they want to visit.
Next I asked them to count all the countries in Africa. This can be complicated considering there are territories of European countries, but the simple answer is 54 (sovereign African countries).
Finally I asked them to color in the countries. You could use many different coloring patterns to show landscape, religion, language, etc. However, I chose the most fun coloring pattern for the kids; Any country can be any color they want, as long as two countries with the same color are not touching.
