Sniglets - Words that don´t exist but probably should! Sniglets - Words that don´t exist but probably should!

This worksheet is a collection of ´sniglets´ which are words that demonstrate the flexibility and creativity of the English language to generate words that do not exist but can give a specific name to concepts, events and things that have never been named before. They are usually the combination of one or two other known words that describe the new feature. This is not a serious exercise in lexicology but a fun example of the lighter side of English. Teachers could also use this exercise as a springboard for advanced students to make up their own words such as a ´printabolic´ is someone addicted to sending new materials to ESL Printables!! Enjoy
