Students first do a matching exercise with information about The Beatles. The teacher then elicits the use of is/are and was/were. After that, students look at a word cloud and anticipate the content of the song. Then they listen to the song and complete the cloze. Finally, students read a biography of The Beatles and answer the teacherīs comprehension questions.
