Job Map
This job map is an idea from "word map." By using visualized map, students can feel more interested in this topic. Teachers need to guide students the worksheet, and then students fill in. They can work in pairs or in groups to talk about their jobs by using the job map.
Due to the size limitation, I canīt upload bigger file, but I have another version of job map in which I put pictures such as "superman," "batman," singers or movie stars. Students work in groups and discuss what jobs these people do (one group, one picture with job map). Then students share the job map with others.
Teachers can use celebrities or cartoon characters because these people can attract studentsī attention. Also, teachers need to change the forms into "3rd person singular." So, students can practice describing other peopleīs job by utilizing 3rd person singular.
