3 in a row: what are/were they doing? 3 in a row: what are/were they doing?

You can use these 3 transparencies with an OHP. Divide the class into pairs / two groups and have them play 3 in a row -- they need to choose a picture among the 6 given ones and describe what is/was happening in the picture. Students need to use the correct tense (a continuous tense -- the one you´re learning). The goal of the pair/group is to get 3 in a row. Great for motivation! The pupils love this game!
