This is a motivating listening that works very well and is one of my favourites. To be used with intermediate and upper-intermediate ss. My worksheet goes in two parts. I first give them part I, leave them some time to digest the questions, so that they can anticipate on the listening. Then, they can listen 3 times to the sound track. Leave them some time in between each listening to take notes. The second part is a fill-in-the gap exercise for which they have only one listening. I then urge them do the listening again at home with our without subtitles. To finish they can report a similar experience to the class. Could also be followed by a written activity. Link + key + tapescript.
