Linking words and phrases / connectors (with example sentences) - A practice ws is coming soon! :)
A very useful ws which includes an interesting list of the most common linking words classified into categories with meaningful examples (linking words connect and link ideas and sentences in a logical way. So, they can be divided into categories according to the logical functions they express: Addition, cause and effect, contrast, purpose, summarising, sequencing, concluding and examplifying...) N.B. This ws will be updated since there is more to add about connectors which are so useful in beautifying our writing style as well as logically connecting ideas we want to communicate and convey.
