Cardhead Speaking Game
This is a easy game, that requires time to cut up paper and have pens available. The teacher decides what the vocabulary is going to be used for this game such as, nouns, verbs, modals, adjectives, etc...
Scrap paper is cut up and given to groups of 4-5 students. Students write one word on the paper and then pass it clockwise to the next person without looking at their newly received card.
As a group, everyone puts up their word to their forehead and uses simple yes/no questions to extrapolate by elimination what their word is. Students who answer their mystery word, get to relax, as it is quite silly and rewarding to laugh.
