Places in Town Riddles
These are 8 riddles about places in a town (museum, hospital, bus station, park, school, town hall, library). I stick each one on card, number them 1 to 8 and hang them on the classroom walls. I make 4 teams of 6 or 7 pupils. Each pupil in each team has a different number (1-8). When I tell them, they have to stand up, go to their number and guess what place it is. Then, they come back to their table and write it on a sheet of paper. The first team to complete all the 8 places is the winner. I play this game with other categories, too (animals, food, etc.). Pupils love it!
