Letter I Vocabulary Patterns
An oral and pre-writing skill building activity based around the alphabet and related vocabulary Orally review the vocabulary with the students. Have them practice saying each vocabulary word and predicting what comes next in the sequence. Have students cut out the squares at the bottom of the worksheet and paste each into the correct sequence to complete the pattern. **The words used on this worksheet are "igloo", "itch", "insect", and "ink". This is to emphasize only the /i/ sound rather than confuse students with multiple "I" sounds at such an early stage.**
