Discovery Channelīs "I love the whole world"
This worksheet is part of a lesson to teach listening skills. The worksheet gradually becomes more difficult as learners first have to choose the correct option from those given,later they have to write what they hear in the blank spaces. In this way, in a multi-level classroom, even the lower-level learners will have some success in the activity.
The second activity highlights some of the informal English from the lyrics and asks students to write the formal English.There is an accompanying power point that has an exercise in pronunciation.
One of the vocabulary items is īmouseī. Students have a lot of difficulty pronouncing īmouthī correctly and the specific slide addresses that.It also introduces the plural of mouse.
The final exercise in the worksheet allows students to write their own lyrics to the song.
