Have a guess ! GAME - 3 sets of cards
A guessing game on American emblematic figures and places. You can play the game in class as an ice breaking activity for your very first lesson using only the first step to encourage them to make long sentences. You can also play the extended game just before the holidays. I have left the blue part blank so that you might add your own examples, simplify the game with easier names or make it more complex with a more advanced audience.

So all in all you can juggle with approximately 75 different places and / or characters. As a follow up work, you can have your pupils working on webquest activity on different people and places and present them to the class briefly.
