Present Simple and Present Continuous Dominoes
I prepared these dominoes for my elementary 11 years old students in order to practice Present Simple vs. Present Continuous in a fun way. The template is not mine; I found this worksheet on Teach-This website, but there were just affirmative sentences in Present Simple and without 3rd person. So I upgraded it, changed sentences, so that students can practice both of the tenses and their correct structure, all persons, all kinds of sentences, even short answers.
Students basically work/play in pairs and either play real dominoes or just try to build one big consistent chain of sentences.
My students really enjoyed, even if it took them some time to understand that sentences must be correct and they have to focus on correct grammar structure.
