Repetition makes it easy to remember/use such words as saw, went, ate, slept, said, etc. Sts read, guess who said the sentence, answer the questions, practice some key vocab (nouns, numerals, adjectives), choose correct words. They practice the Simple past verbs very actively here. Real life students enjoyed it.
