Can I...? Can you....?
This sheet is for adult basic level students to practice asking permission such as "Can I use your pencil?", "Can I have the paper?" (from a student to the teacher) and "Can I see your picture?" The latter two can be replaced with making a request-version like "Can you give me the paper?" and "Can you show me your picture?" I added some other words for studentsī roleplay.
Since I wanted to encourage my students to first practice orally in pairs, etc. well, I hid the words for those pictures (a, B, C... for each section)but only blanks can be visible. You can see those words in the answer key section on the second page, but the words in the blanks should be visible (hopefully) if you turn the font color from white to whatever color you like. After the conversation practice, I would let the students write those words, and only when we go over them, I will show the spellings on the screen.
