Chinese Art. Lui Liu
My students loved this lesson, though the content is a bit controversial so you can only use it with adult students. Itīs suitable when discussing: The Arts, Politics or China. The painting Beijing 2008 has a mysterious message and my students loved guessing it.
This lesson of mine has been one of the most successful on advanced level.
Page 1: work in pairs - print one page per two students.
Page 2: print 1 page for every student.
Page 3,4: reading cards - print per every 6 students. If you have less than 6 students in your class, you can give more than one card to one student (e.g card E+ card F).
Itīs advised to show this painting on a big screen when discussing it. It can be easily found online. I hope you will enjoy it!
