The following activity will help your students practice modal verbs and phrases. It should be completed in pairs. Students A and B have gaps in different sentences. As Student A completes his sentence correctly (his partner is supposed to say which guess is right), it is Student Bīs turn to guess which modal verb or phrase is needed in his/her gap. In such a way students are able to correct and monitor each other.
