Prepositions of Place Walk
I produced this worksheet to activate the prepositions of place for my students.
The idea is for them to write a guided tour for students following them to the school.
The map can be replaced with one more suitable for your location, the map on there is as an example. You enter the name of your school, and go walkabout outside. Perfect for the summer months as it gets them out of the classroom which they always appreciate. As long as you don´t mind being the ´tour´ guide and pointing out the landmarks as you go, identifying their location in relation to each other.... you should also enjoy the lesson.
I found it worked really well to consolidate the prepositions, allowed for written practice with linkers for order, sentence structure and word order too.
