ESL Game of Tetris (GOT) Interactive and Board Game versions
Interactive version:
Create two teams. One student in each team will be the "speaker" and will make sentences using different vocabulary and grammar depending on the type of blocks he/she gets (you can edit the grammar point)
Print this activity-card on A3 paper and stick it next to the IWB so that students can refer to it easily to create their sentences.

- The game ends when one team dies. Then, repeat and change the teamīs speaker.
- You can set a time limit if they are too good.
- Slow down the gameīs pace by forbidding the use of the down key.
Non-Interactive version:
If you donīt have IWB or computer, you can give them cards with blocks to cut out. Then, they can play Tetris in pairs using a Tetris box and simple rules: Ex. you have 10 seconds to place your block on the grid, and 5 seconds to make a sentence. Once the block is place, you canīt touch it.
