Sports Idioms
Divide students into two groups. Each group has four different idioms; and two definitions for each of them but only one is correct)They have to add a third definition, which has to be wrong, in the empty space. Taking turns, each group reads the idiom and the three definitions to the other group. This team will have to guess which the correct answer is in order to get a point. To win an extra point they must say from which sport this idiom originated. The group with more points at the end of the competition is the winner.
